-Survival of the fittest the "fittest" are most adaptable
-A lot of schools focus on independence and collaborating is considered cheating
-To gain independence you must sacrifice a sense of community or teamwork
-Most powerful offices function best through interdependence as well as some of the most effected presidents of the USA have relied heavily upon cabinets and advisors
-It isn't the money that sinks a partnership but the people
-Self-interest is a reasonable motive for entering a strategic relationship but this May conflict with what's good for the alliance
-Interdependence requires that one party do for the other and vice versa
-Many companies act strategically to be good corporate citizens and establish positive.public relations with the communities that in turn support them by purchasing thier goods
-The internet creates an opportunity for companies to create interdependent networks
-We all need each other (companies need customers)
-Creating effective partnerships requires an understanding of how interdependence works and the human factors that influence both individual and organizational relationships

We can increase the value of collaborative relationships operating offline through networking online by bringing together a more diverse group of people. By doing this, the relationships are able to grow greatly due to the fact these different people are bringing different ideas to the table.
